Jenna Olsen is a fourth-year undergraduate journalism student at the University of King’s College in Halifax, completing an academic internship at The Globe and Mail.
She’s the editor-in-chief of the Dalhousie Gazette, and was previously a reporter at the Investigative Journalism Bureau. At the IJB, she did in-depth investigations into animal research, femicide, doctor disciplinary records and mental health care. Her investigation into clandestine dog research inside an Ontario hospital prompted provincial legislation that’s set to ban invasive research on dogs and cats.
