Meera Raman is a personal finance reporter for The Globe and Mail's Report on Business, based in Toronto.

Her reporting explores the ways money shapes people's lives, from Canada's "boring business" boom to the rise of prediction markets and the blurring lines between investing and gambling. Her reporting has also taken her to Lunenburg, N.S., where she examined why residents live so long.

In addition to her reporting, Meera writes Retire Rich, a weekly newsletter that helps readers navigate the investing and financial decisions that shape their futures.

Ultimately, she wants to help people feel more confident with their money. When she's not reporting on personal finance, Meera can be found at a spin class, getting lost in a good book or trying a new restaurant with friends.
