Have you stopped working as a real estate agent? We want to hear about it for a future story.Sammy Kogan/The Globe and Mail

Faced with four years of low sales and a tough market, thousands of real estate agents are either taking second jobs or leaving the industry altogether.

Meanwhile, professional fees are high and many realtors have had to pay the marketing costs out of their own pocket. Industry pros have said they are losing veteran agents and replacing them with realtors who are part-timers — and some realtors have not been able to close a transaction.

Have you stopped working as a real estate agent? We want to hear about it.

If you’re a realtor who has left the industry in the past few years, we’d love to speak to you for a future story. Why did you leave? What have you done to supplement your income? Have you had to take a second job?
