Bank of Montreal has priced a HKD 863 million issuance of 3.11 per cent senior notes due April 8, 2027, under its US$40 billion note issuance programme. The transaction adds Hong Kong dollar-denominated funding to the bank’s capital structure, underscoring its continued access to international debt markets and diversification of its investor base.
The notes are being issued as Series 472 within the existing programme and are documented via final terms dated April 2, 2026, which must be read in conjunction with the latest version of the programme prospectus. By tapping this funding channel, Bank of Montreal reinforces its position as an active participant in global fixed-income markets, which may support its ongoing lending and treasury operations.
