Krispy Kreme ( (DNUT) ) has shared an update.

On April 1, 2026, Krispy Kreme’s board elected David Shear and former Kraft Heinz Global Chief People Officer Melissa Werneck as independent directors, effective April 2, 2026, with Werneck joining the Compensation, Nomination, and Governance Committee. Their appointments bring additional international franchise and human capital expertise to the board and they will receive standard non-employee director compensation.

On April 3, 2026, the company and its subsidiary Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation entered into an at-will employment agreement with Chief Financial Officer Raphael Duvivier, setting a minimum $700,000 base salary, performance-based bonus eligibility, and relocation, visa, and travel benefits. The agreement also outlines severance protections, including 12 months of salary, healthcare premium support, and relocation reimbursement to Europe if he is terminated without cause or resigns for good reason, reinforcing leadership stability for the company’s financial operations.

Spark’s Take on DNUT Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, DNUT is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weak and volatile financial performance (revenue decline, 2025 loss/negative EBITDA, and historically negative free cash flow) and leverage-related risk. Offsetting this are improving turnaround indicators from the earnings call and recent refranchising/deleveraging actions, while technicals and valuation remain roughly neutral given mixed momentum and losses despite a solid dividend yield.
