Tanu Misra

AbbVie Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Tanu Misra as Vice-President and General Manager of AbbVie in Canada. Tanu joined Abbott in 2002 as a financial analyst. Since then, she has held positions of increasing complexity and responsibility across diverse functional areas with both Abbott Laboratories, Inc. and AbbVie, Inc., in Illinois, USA. She has provided leadership across multiple therapeutic areas, most recently serving as Vice-President, Dermatology Psoriatic, U.S. Immunology. Throughout her career, she has driven sustained growth through strong market insight and commercial leadership. Tanu brings extensive biopharma leadership experience, including commercial strategy, portfolio leadership, launch excellence, and team development across diverse markets. Tanu’s philanthropic platform is education for the underserved. She serves as a Board member of Bernie’s Book Bank, supported since 2014 by the AbbVie Foundation, Tanu champions children’s literacy and helps empower future readers and leaders.
