Hubbell B ( (HUBB) ) has shared an announcement.
On June 9, 2026, Hubbell completed its acquisition of NSI Industries, a Huntersville, N.C.-based manufacturer and supplier of more than 15,000 branded electrical fittings, connectors, components and wire management products sold through over 2,000 distributors in North America. NSI brings well-known brands such as Bridgeport fittings, Polaris connectors and Tork timers into Hubbell’s portfolio, broadening its presence in industrial, infrastructure and commercial markets.
To fund the NSI acquisition and related transactions, Hubbell drew on a new unsecured term loan facility totaling $900 million, issued $1.9 billion in senior notes and supplemented financing with commercial paper. The transaction is set to expand Hubbell’s product breadth and distribution reach in electrical solutions, reinforcing its position in critical infrastructure markets and potentially deepening relationships with distributors and industrial customers.

Spark’s Take on HUBB Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, HUBB is a Outperform.
HUBB scores well primarily on strong financial performance and a very constructive earnings update with raised 2026 guidance and continued strength in utility and data-center demand. The score is held back by weaker intermediate technical momentum, a not-cheap P/E with modest yield, and added leverage/execution risk tied to acquisition financing.
