JetBlue Airways ( (JBLU) ) just unveiled an announcement.

JetBlue Airways entered into a Framework Agreement on April 14, 2026 with affiliates of SKY Leasing and UMB Bank to secure $500 million in committed debt financing backed by up to 22 of its owned A320 and A220 aircraft. Each borrowing will be a separate, aircraft-specific loan, maturing between 2033 and 2037, and bearing fixed monthly interest expected in the 6.00% to 6.75% range, with no-call periods followed by prepayment at par.

The structure includes first-priority security interests in the pledged aircraft, customary closing conditions, and provisions allowing certain loans to be cross-defaulted and cross-collateralized, standard for asset-backed aviation financings. The agreement also features a committed accordion for up to an additional $250 million of aircraft-secured debt, enhancing JetBlue’s financial flexibility and access to long-term, asset-based funding for its fleet.

The most recent analyst rating on (JBLU) stock is a Buy with a $8.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on JetBlue Airways stock, see the JBLU Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on JBLU Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, JBLU is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (persistent losses, rising leverage, and negative recent free cash flow). The earnings call provides some support via breakeven-focused 2026 guidance and Jet Forward progress, but technical signals remain mixed and valuation is constrained by negative earnings and no stated dividend yield.
