Profile

Mitsui & Co Ltd was incorporated on July 25, 1947. On February 16, 1959, the company changed its name to Mitsui Bussan Kabushiki Kiasha (Mitsui & Co., Ltd.). The Company is engaged in overseas development of oil and gas resources, and manufactures, sells and trades oil, gas, coal and related products in Japan and abroad. It operates in seven business segments: iron and steel products, mineral and metal resources, machinery and infrastructure, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, innovation and corporate development.
