An announcement from Perpetua Resources ( (PPTA) ) is now available.
On June 1, 2026, Perpetua Resources reported that the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho denied a preliminary injunction sought on May 8, 2026, by environmental groups challenging federal approvals for the Stibnite Gold Project. The lawsuit, filed on February 18, 2025, alleges violations of the National Environmental Policy Act and other laws in the process leading to approval of the project’s modified mine plan.
In a May 29, 2026 memorandum decision, the court also partially granted Perpetua’s motion to strike materials submitted by the plaintiffs, clearing a procedural path for the company. Following the ruling, Perpetua began additional critical path construction on May 30, 2026, including work on the Burntlog Route and upgrades to worker housing, powerlines, and drilling activities, marking a significant step forward for the project despite ongoing litigation.

Spark’s Take on PPTA Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, PPTA is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by pre-revenue operations with widening losses and worsening cash burn, plus weak near-term technicals. These are partially offset by a very low-leverage balance sheet and meaningful positive corporate developments around project financing and contract de-risking.
