On May 7, 2026, Protolabs announced the appointment of Bernardo Parlange as Chief Commercial Officer, effective May 18, 2026, in a newly created role overseeing global commercial strategy across sales, marketing, and customer success. In a separate move, Protolabs disclosed the planned retirement of long-time Chief Operations Officer Mike Kenison, effective July 1, 2026, after a 20-year tenure in which he helped expand the company to four manufacturing services, nine global factories, and over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space, underscoring a significant transition in the company’s leadership as it pursues its next phase of growth.
