Telus ( (TSE:T) ) has shared an announcement.
Telus Corporation disclosed that, effective January 1, 2026, it amalgamated with its subsidiary Telus International (Cda) Inc. under the single continuing name Telus Corporation, as certified by the British Columbia Registrar of Companies. The move, reported to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on February 12, 2026, streamlines the group’s legal structure, consolidates governance under one board, and may simplify capital structure and reporting for investors and regulators.
The amalgamated entity retains its Vancouver headquarters and maintains an authorized share structure of up to 4 billion common shares and 2 billion preferred shares across two series. Existing Telus directors, including CEO Darren Entwistle and a broad slate of independent directors, continue in their roles, signalling continuity in strategic oversight despite the internal corporate reorganization.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:T) stock is a Hold with a C$14.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Telus stock, see the TSE:T Stock Forecast page.
