UFP Industries Expands Packaging Network With Berry Pallets Acquisition

On April 28, 2026, UFP Industries announced a $20 million deal to acquire the operating assets and real estate of Berry Pallets, a pallet manufacturer in Waseca, Minnesota, with closing expected around May 18, 2026. The transaction adds about $23 million in annual sales, 75 employees and a key upper Midwest facility to UFP Packaging’s PalletOne network, enhancing its ability to serve national and regional customers.

By integrating Berry Pallets into its existing pallet manufacturing network, UFP aims to leverage its scale, procurement advantages and customer relationships while preserving Berry’s local expertise. The acquisition reinforces UFP’s strategy of investing in core wood-based industrial packaging businesses, expanding manufacturing capacity and strengthening its competitive position in the upper Midwest and broader packaging markets.
