The action
The classic brick and stone façade drew many buyers, four of whom submitted offers.Re/Max Professionals Inc.
This four-bedroom house, near Dundas Street and Royal York Road, was posted for less than $2.1-million during the last week of August, usually a busy time in the home-selling market. Four buyers among those able to visit the home in its first two days on the market made offers, one of which, at $205,000 over the asking price, the seller accepted.
“We were priced well,” said agent Motria Dzulynsky. “I thought we’d get one really good offer or more than that, and we ended up with four.”
The classic 1940s brick and stone façade drew many buyers. A three-storey addition at the rear was completed in the 1980s.
“The layout was good, and it was in good shape,” Ms. Dzulynsky said. “You could just live there until you wanted to update.”
“It had an ensuite bath and four bedrooms, which is sought-after in the area.”

The agent’s take

“It’s a very sought-after street because it’s close to schools, like Lambton-Kingsway,” Ms. Dzulynsky said.
“It’s also quiet with no through traffic.”
