Former Kabul-based journalist arrives in Canada after fleeing Taliban

Globe and Mail news assistant and reporter Mukhtar Amiri escaped Kabul through Pakistan with the help of the Canadian government and The Globe. He and his family arrived at Toronto’s Pearson Airport on October 15.
