CenterPoint Energy also owns and operates electric generation capacity in Indiana. Its important subsidiaries include Houston Electric, CERC Corp. and Vectren. CenterPoint Energy's reportable business segments include the following: Electric (this segment offers electric transmission and distribution services in Houston and Indiana), Natural Gas (this segment offers intrastate natural gas sales and natural gas transportation and distribution for the residential, commercial, industrial and institutional customers).
