This three-bedroom bungalow still has its 1970s-era construction finishes on a corner lot in Bolton, about 50 kilometres northwest of downtown Toronto. One buyer delivered an offer during the opening weekend in May, after which three others joined in with their own bids.
“The property received strong interest, generating 12 showings in just three days and resulting in four offers,” said agent Gary Cirillo.
“I believe some of the key selling features were the bungalow layout, the desirable corner lot measuring 56 by 146 feet, and the private driveway with parking for up to six vehicles.”
The sellers, well aware that other properties were having difficulty finding buyers this spring, accepted a purchase proposal within $9,000 of their asking price of $899,000.
“The last couple of [bungalows] took a little longer to sell, even reducing their price,” Mr. Cirillo said.
“The week after ours sold, there were other detached, two-storey homes listed for $899,000, and they weren’t moving either.”
