North Korea's Kim vows to keep backing Russia, state media says

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said his country will continue to support Russia's policies and he discussed the international political situation with Russia's defence minister, state media KCNA reported on Monday. The Kim family has maintained near‑total control of North Korea since its founding after World War Two and experts say that fear of being seen as anti‑revolutionary drives strong displays of loyalty to the leader.
