A federal election took place in Canada on April 28, 2025.

Mark Carney's Liberals won a minority government with 169 seats in a contest that saw Carney, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, Green Party co-leaders Jonathan Pedneault and Elizabeth May, and Bloc Québécois leader Yves-François Blanchet face off in 343 ridings.
